Political Theorist at the University of Toronto
Welcome! I'm a political theorist at the University of Toronto, where I received my Ph.D. in December 2022. My research has appeared in Political Theory, The Review of Politics, and The Political Science Reviewer. My research interests include republican and monarchical political thought, political rhetoric, the relationship between philosophy and literature, and early modern reception of ancient political thought.

My current research looks to early modern and ancient political thought for clarity about contemporary normative questions, especially those concerning the role of political participation in a full human life.

My teaching experience and interests lie in introductory political theory courses and upper-level seminars across the history of political thought and contemporary political theory.
